O Xbox One e o Xbox 360
receberão uma série de mudanças em junho. Dentre as mudanças está o anúncio de que o Xbox One
será vendido sem o Kinect por R$ 1.999. Os programas Games with Gold e Deals with Gold também virão para o console
de última geração. Além disso, aplicativos de entretenimento como Netflix

para compra sem o acessório Kinect, reduzindo seu preço de US$ 499
(R$ 2.299 no Brasil) para US$ 399 (R$ 1.999 no Brasil, preço oficial) e igualando-se assim ao preço do PlayStation 4 .
A compra do pacote completo pelo preço original ainda estará disponível
e o Kinect poderá ser adquirido separadamente, porém ainda sem preço
revelado. O programa Games with Gold , onde membros da Xbox Live, que
possuem uma conta Gold, recebem games gratuitos mensalmente, foi
iniciado há um ano no Xbox 360. A partir de junho deste ano passará a
estar disponível também no Xbox One, porém com uma funcionalidade um
pouco diferente. Terão acesso somente os participantes que possuírem uma
conta Gold, semelhante ao sistema adotado pela PlayStation Plus. Os
games que estarão disponíveis gratuitamente já no próximo mês são Max: The Curse of the Brotherhood e Halo: Spartan Assault . Por sua vez, a versão para Xbox 360 receberá três games em junho, sendo eles Dark Souls , Charlie Murder e Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition . em games para membros Gold, também chegará ao Xbox One em junho. De
início, estarão em promoção Forza Motorsport 5 e Ryse: Son of Rome , além de outros games ainda não divulgados. Também foi informado que o programa continuará no Xbox 360, sem mudanças. Finalmente, aplicativos como Netflix , Machinima, Twitch ,
dentre outros que anteriormente necessitavam de uma conta Gold para
serem utilizados, serão gratuitos para todos os usuários, tanto no Xbox
