Roma – Os usuários do Windows XP, lançado há 12 anos, terão atualizações de segurança até 2015, informou a Microsoft em comunicado, voltando atrás na decisão de dar suporte ao sistema até abril deste ano.

A decisão permitirá que estas pessoas recebam atualizações para os anti-malware (programas portadores de vírus), como o Microsoft Security Essentials, até 14 de julho de 2015, enquanto não migram para novas versões do software.
O Windows XP, de acordo com estudos, é usado ainda em 32% dos PCs do mundo.
A Windows anunciou a atualização do Windows 8, de codinome “Threshold”, que deve ser divulgado em abril, na conferência dos desenvolvedores BUILD, e comercializado a partir de abril de 2015.
