O Windows 8.1 Update (KB2919355) é uma atualização de segurança para o Windows 8.1. Lançada no início de abril durante a conferência Build 2014, ela trouxe diversas melhorias na interface do sistema operacional, como a adição de um botão de pesquisas e de desligar à tela inicial, além da adição de menus de contexto aos blocos dinâmicos e um novo botão de acesso às configurações do computador.
As atualizações do Windows costumam ser opcionais para os usuários, mas o novo 8.1 Update será obrigatório para quem quiser continuar recebendo atualizações de segurança no seu computador nos próximos meses.
