Um blog Microsoft foi invadido pelo Exército Syrian Electronic Army (Exército Electrónico da Síria), logo após duas de suas contas no Twitter e outro blog foram atacados pelo mesmo grupo.
O escritório do blog tinha acabado de ser redesenhado antes de ter sido alvo de hackers que postaram uma imagem do seu trabalho no seu feed do Twitter.
Permeáveis ataques foram usados para enviar mensagens do governo pró-Síria e críticas da empresa.
Microsoft ainda não comentou nada, a cerca do último ataque.

Inúmeros artigos apareceram no site da Microsoft com o título, ”Invadido pela Syrin Electronic Army”, antes de ser retirado, disse o repórter de notícias de tecnologia da The Verge.
Depois do ataque, a SEA enviou um tweet para a Microsoft que dizia: ” Mudar o sistema de gerenciamento de conteúdo não irá ajudar, se os vossos funcionários são invadidos e eles não sabem nada”
O grupo, anteriormente já tinha usado o Twitter para alertar a companhia que mais ataques poderiam vir a acontecer, depois de alguns sites da mídia social foram comprometidas no principio do ano.
Dizia: ”Nós não acabamos o nosso ataque na @Microsoft ainda, fiquem sintonizados para mais.”
Depois do incidente a companhia fechou as suas contas afectadas para ”manutenção”.
Em um comunicado lançado na altura, dizia: ”nenhuma informação de cliente nenhum foi comprometida”.
”O que a SEA faz não é muito sofisticado. Mas funciona e a pessoas precisam de ser mais vigilantes,” disse o analista de segurança Granham Cluley.
”Isto é constrangedor para a Microsoft, mas isso quer dizer que as pessoas não irão comprar os softwares da Microsoft? provavelemente não.”
A companhia também confirmou que no tempo do primeiro ataque, uma quantia pequena de contas de endereço electrónico de funcionários tivera sido acessada pela SEA.
Imagens de conversas entre os executivos da Microsoft foram divulgados pelo grupo.
Microsoft assegura que, as contas foram feitas um reset completo.
