O site ainda não possui data de lançamento para a versão final, mas já é possível navegar por uma página de testes e ter uma boa noção da interface e das funcionalidades do novo projeto do polêmico fundador do Mega, serviço de nuvem que chegou após o finado Megaupload. estarão presentes no Baboom. Porém, uma análise da interface da sua primeira versão pode dar um bom panorama do que está por vir.
Dotcom já havia dito que o Baboom seria como juntar iTunes e Spotify,
mas pode ser mais do que isso. No menu do lado esquerdo, estão a “Jukebox”, que deve oferecer músicas aleatórias, e a “Activity”, que dá um ar mais social ao Baboom. Um detalhe bem humorado é que todos os álbuns, vídeos e músicas que aparecem em destaque na versão de testes são de autoria do próprio Dotcom. Aliás, também há um concurso em que seus melhores remixes e clipes para suas músicas ganharão prêmios em dinheiro de até US$ 10 mil (cerca de R$ 25 mil).
