Google liberou a venda do Google Glass para os cidadães Estadunidenses por 1.500 dólares o que mostra que o Google quer infiltrar o Google Glass na sociedade. Ao que parece rumores surgiram sobre uma segunda geração do Google Glass atualmente em desenvolvimento.
De acordo com rumores, o Google já desenvolveu um sucessor para a equipe de pesquisa e desenvolvimento do wearable e o Google esta testando se isso dará certo. Não há detalhes no que diz respeito às especificações, preço ou descrição do dispositivo iminente.
Kong Wenjun de Crystal Optech confirmou que sua empresa está fornecendo novos revestimentos ópticos em direção a um projeto do Google de vidro de segunda geração que está sendo usado pela equipe de P & D no Google.
Embora os detalhes são escassos, esperamos ver esta nova geração do Google Glass nos próximos meses de conferências dos desenvolvedores Google I/O. Enquanto o júri é ainda para fora sobre o polêmico e caro wearable, parece que outras empresas estão tentando criar dispositivos semelhantes com menos funcionalidades em uma questão de custo.
