Lançado nesta semana, novo recurso da plataforma permite que você pare de receber os tuítes de outra pessoa sem que ela fique sabendo.
O Twitter normalmente é um lugar agradável, onde as pessoas trocam ideias e tem discussões interessantes sobre todos os tipos de assuntos. Mas, como em qualquer fórum público, a rede possui sua cota de pessoas desagradáveis. Agora o Twitter permite que você silencie essas pessoas. E o melhor: elas nem vão saber que isso aconteceu.
Antes disso, o Twitter já te permitia bloquear outros usuários, mas dizia a eles que isso tinha acontecido. O novo recurso de “mudo”, que vem sendo testado há algumas semanas, mas foi confirmado oficialmente nesta segunda, 12/5, te permite silenciar pessoas que você considere chatas e inconvenientes, e depois dar voz a elas de novo caso mude de ideia.
Silenciar vs Bloquear
Caso se depare com uma sequência de tuítes irritantes na sua timeline, pode silenciar esse usuário nos apps iOS e Android ou pela web ao clicar no tuíte em questão e então selecionar o botão More (Mais) na parte inferior. Também é possível silenciar uma pessoa diretamente no perfil dela: apenas clique no ícone de ferramenta e selecione Mute (Silenciar) no menu drop-down.
Para liberar os tuítes desse usuário de novo na sua timeline, visite o perfil dessa pessoa e toque no ícone vermelho “unmute”.
A diferença entre silenciar e bloquear um usuário: usuários bloqueados não podem interagir com o seu conteúdo ao responder ou retuitar você. Eles também não podem te seguir ou marcar em fotos. Usuários “silenciados” nem vão saber que isso aconteceu – assim como a opção “unfollow” no Facebook, que não informa nada ao outro usuário. Eles continuam a poder favoritar, retuitar e responder para você, e você ainda verá as interações deles na sua aba de notificações, mas o fluxo normal de tuítes deles não vai aparecer na sua timeline.
Se você não gosta de alguém o bastante para silenciar seus tuítes, então por que apenas não para de segui-la? Bom, não é que você nunca mais quer os tuítes dela novamente, mas talvez ela esteja tuitando em um evento que seja muito chato ou apenas esteja falando muito nos últimos dias. Você só quer esperar ela se acalmar um pouco.
Vale notar que o recurso do botão “mudo” começou a ser liberado nesta segunda e pode demorar algumas semanas para chegar a todos os usuários do Twitter.
