“Adam Sharp” não é um nome muito conhecido no Brasil, mas o executivo norte-americano é chefe de um departamento bastante importante no Twitter. Segundo a Folha, ele lidera uma equipe de 13 pessoas responsável por dar dicas a políticos e instituições sem fins lucrativos de como aproveitar melhor a exposição possível com a rede social. E depois de rodar o mundo com o projeto, nesta semana ele desembarca no Brasil.
Em um evento com duração de três dias, Sharp vai falar para senadores, deputados e alguns ministros quais são as melhores práticas na utilização do Twitter, visando ensinar melhores formas de aproveitamento da ferramenta durante as campanhas eleitorais e também na prestação de contas com os eleitores. A Folha fez uma série de perguntas ao executivo, todas baseadas na utilização política do Twitter.
Quando perguntado acerca da construção de público para cargos minoritários (como o de deputados estaduais e federais), Sharp disse que é preciso dar menos importância ao número de seguidores e mais ao engajamento deles. Ele ainda revela que no decorrer do século os políticos se tornaram bons em transmitir mensagens, mas não em interagir com o meio em que estão inseridos.
Por essa razão, é preciso aprender que a utilização de ferramentas sociais pode garantir novamente uma aproximação entre eleitor e elegível. É fato que essa interação pode ser também prejudicial, portanto é necessário ter preparo antes de as relações de aproximação serem iniciadas. E é exatamente isso que ele vai ensinar no curso desta semana. Será que veremos melhorias no Twitter dos políticos após as aulas?
