O Skycontroller aumenta o alcance do Bebop em até 2 km, e com o Oculus Rift, ao inclinar a cabeça, por exemplo, é possível controlar a câmera do drone. Os primeiros relatórios apontaram delay (atraso) entre as imagens capturadas pelo dispositivo e envio das mesmas para o óculos de realidade aumentada, o que deve ser consertado até o lançamento.
