A consultoria SplashData listou as 25 senhas mais comuns encontradas na internet em 2013. Pela primeira vez, o código “password” (senha, em inglês) perdeu a liderança do ranking para uma sequência numérica: “123456”. De acordo com a empresa, muitos usuários ainda se colocam em risco na web ao utilizar senhas de fácil acesso. O ranking foi compilado conforme o número de senhas que vazaram na internet.
“Outro aspecto interessante na lista deste ano é o aparecimento de mais senhas numéricas, mesmo com os sites reforçando a política de criação de senhas fortes”, afirmou Morgan Slain, CEO da companhia.
A consultoria aconselha a criar código com base em palavras combinadas, que são fáceis de lembrar e difíceis de serem hackeadas, por exemplo “bolo_anos_aniversario”. Segundo a consultoria, os softwares para decifrar senhas já estão cada vez mais aptos a encontrar códigos que substituem números em palavras, como s3nh4.
