O site de dados SplashData publicou a sua lista anual com as 25 piores palavras chaves utilizadas na Internet em 2013. E pela primeira vez “password” não é a pior. A campeã do ano passado foi “123456”.
A palavra chave “password” utilizada na Internet foi ultrapassada, na lista das 25 piores, pela palavra chave “123456”, mantendo-se agora na segunda posição.
Segundo explica o SplashData, a lista de 2013 foi influenciada pelo grande número de palavras chave dos utilizadores de Adobe publicadas pela empresa de consultadoria e segurança Estenosis Consulting Group. Estas palavras chave foram tornadas públicas depois do Adobe sofrer uma forte violação de segurança.
A listas das piores palavra chave mostram que muitas pessoas continuam a colocar em risco os seus dados utilizando palavras chave fáceis de adivinhar. Entre outras que estão no ‘top’ destacam-se ‘qwerty’, ‘abc123’, ‘111111’ e ‘iloveyou’.
O SplashData publica anualmente uma lista com as piores palavras chave no sentido de alertar e incentivar os utilizadores a escolherem palavras chave mais seguras.
